28.09.2023 | Schöffel-LOWA GmbH has opened its 40th store just in time for LOWA's 100th anniversary - in Pfaffenhofen in Upper Bavaria, the home district of hiking and mountain footwear specialist LOWA. From today, high-quality collections of outdoor, bike and ski clothing as well as trekking and outdoor shoes will be presented there.
The 100 square metre space is run as a shop-in-shop in the newly opened Herrmann und Holzner shoe store at Joseph-Fraunhofer-Straße 26, conveniently located directly on the Bundesstraße 13. The Herrmann Schuhe und Mode Group, based in Leipheim, operates a dense network of shoe and clothing stores in southern Germany. The group has been an important sales partner of LOWA since 1997 and its headquarters in Jetzendorf are located in the immediate vicinity of the new store. Pfaffenhofen is already the 40th Schöffel-LOWA location in Central Europe: exactly 20 years ago, the outdoor clothing specialist Schöffel and the hiking and mountain boot manufacturer LOWA founded the sales joint venture, in which the partners each hold 50% of the shares. The idea: as the product ranges of the two traditional companies complement each other perfectly, Schöffel-LOWA offers customers the entire outdoor world perfectly presented from a single source. The stationary range is complemented by the Schöffel-LOWA online shop.
